~May 2017~

Saturday, May 20th

  • Plant a Tree (10:00 am) –In The Pines Seasonal Camp-Resort would like to donate a tree to one of our In The Pines campsites.  If you would like to have a tree planted then please submit your name and we will add you to our tree drawing.  If we draw your name you may choose your tree from a selection of trees we have for you.  Then on May 20th we invite all the camp kiddos to help us plant your new tree.  In The Pines will keep it watered for you for its first growing season.

  • Lorax Kids Craft (After Tree Planting)– “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better.  It’s not.”  (By Dr. Seuss) We will be having a small kid’s craft activity to help remind our camp kids that they can make a big difference despite their small size.

  • Clean up our Camp Border (2:00 pm) – We will be cleaning up the roads that border our Campground.  We will provide garbage bags, and everyone wanting to help clean up our little corner of the world is welcome.  Kids need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Camp Calendar of Events!!

We are so excited that we will now have a building for our events!  We can plan a lot more fun events knowing that we will have some shelter for any inclement weather.  Check out our very fun upcoming season!

We are really going to be focusing on nature-based activities this year for the kids.  We also know what it's like to have your kiddo driving you a bit stir crazy as they ask for something to do.  We plan to help you burn some of that energy they have.  They may even learn something too.  We will be having nature hikes for all the camp kids this summer.  They will get some environmental education while they camp at In The Pines.  Don't worry though... We won't mention to them that it's educational. ;)

We are also bringing back some old favorites.  Like the Carnival, Community Bonfires and Christmas in July.  We have Bags Tournaments and "Smoker's Weekend" planned for the adults.  Don't forget our very festive 4th of July Parade , kite fest and Halloween event will also be on the schedule.  We are so excited to share  These events with you, and can't wait to celebrate the 2017 season with you!

These events are for In The Pines campers and their guests only.
